Sustainable Brands (SB) events have been initiated and led by KoAnn Vikoren Skrzyniarz since 2006. Now, SB has become the world’s preeminent event for shining a light on the power of purpose to drive brand success – and the power of brand to change the world. We believe brands are uniquely positioned to align business and society on the path to a flourishing future and enable participants to experience a shift in thinking that results in new ways of doing business to drive economic success.




To reach the goal of a good world, SB is rethinking the Good Life from three angles launching a 3-year initiative to Redefine (2017), Redesign (2018) and Deliver the Good Life (2019) starting with individual and societal aspirations that point us all toward life fulfilment and real happiness. Started at Detroit, the USA, the 2017 theme of SB: Redefining the Good Life has traveled to SB events in cities across the globe to explore our global societal aspirations and frame a conversation about how we can rethink what the ‘Good Life’ means for a healthy individual, family, community, city, country and planet.

In 2015, SB Bangkok event was held for the first time in Thailand lead by Dr. Sirikul Laokaikul, the Country Director of SB Bangkok, on the belief that global knowledge-sharing of SB community will be beneficial to Thai brands that are leading the way to sustainability; on the other hand, Thailand’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of King Rama IX can be learned and applied as a framework for any individuals, communities, businesses, and countries as well.

Last year SB’ 16 Bangkok gathered over 500 best minds from leading corporations, governments, communication agencies, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to network, exchange ideas, and start meaningful conversations around activating purposes in sustainability.


Sustainable Brands Bangkok 2017

Hosted for the third time in a row, SB Bangkok is gathering thought leaders and sustainability practitioners from various fields, both local and international, to learn, co-create and exchange to deliver a sustainably flourishing future for all.

Local and international brand leaders will unite in Bangkok for a collective conversation about how businesses can position themselves for success against the backdrop of changing societal needs. Be a part of the community that brings the entire system into conversations to mobilize your brand to action and find your path to 21st century success.

Together we will illustrate how the brand leaders of the future can respond through learning, co-creation, and innovation that brings the whole system into conversation to imagine what Good Food, Good Home, Good Health, Good Money, Good Design, Good Energy, Good Technology and Good Destination will look like to build up a “Good Life”.


This year’s conference is all about “Redefining the Good Life”. Throughout SB Bangkok 2017’s unique designed platform, brands will be learning innovative and inspirational contents that divided into 4 roles of brand in Redefining the Good Life which are role of business leaders (Brand Purpose), role of strategy/structure (Brand Strategy), Role of Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communication (Brand Experience) and role of collaboration (Brand Engagement).

Also, under the theme of “Good Life according to Thai Royal Wisdom” attendees will have the opportunity to absorb the royal wisdom of Sufficiency Economy Philosophy which has framed Thailand Sustainable Development since the last 20 years. In addition, Activation hub, Porlaewdee the creator, will offer a platform for Thai brands to showcase their latest innovation in sustainability and allows attendees to explore sessions which brands describe their sustainable innovation and envision “The Good Life” through the 8 Good Life Dimensions.

Furthermore, SB Bangkok 2017 will host GOOD DINING; a special chef table by Two Thai sustainable chefs, is an exclusive mini event where local and international best minds gathering to exchange knowledge, ideas and trends with best brands to strengthen the network of SB.
